Crossing The Timeless Bar

Crossing The Timeless Bar

Throughout the journey of life, we've all had to face the ups, downs, good, and bad.  Question is, which of these emotions have we allowed to control our mindset, and the way we look at life.
Over the years, I have learned that the world will always bring you down, but I have also learned that it can't keep you there.  We were all destined to achieve, and succeed in this lifetime.  Over the years of my life, I had always written poetry, but I never took the time out to pursue it.  It has been embedded deep within my heart to do for a long time, just like my passion to sing.  About 15 years ago I wrote this particular poem, and kept it tucked away in an old journal.  I remember sitting down, and crying as I wrote it.  No one knew about this poem but, me and God.  At the time when I had written it, I was going through several hardships, and was facing a state of depression.  It seemed to last forever.  But, this poem in itself, seemed different than my other pieces of poetry.  The name of it was "Crossing The Timeless Bar."  I didn't know the reason why I wrote this poem at the time.  I just knew the words flowed so perfectly that even my own will couldn't stop the pen.  Nevertheless, the trails of life had beckoned me, and I lost thought of it, and lost thought of pursing my dreams.  Why should I?  The enemy already had me in a pit of depression, where I felt useless, and hopeless to myself, and the world.  He didn't stop there.  Just within a couple of years the enemy tried to take my life on several occasions.  The last time he tried, everyone around me, including myself, thought he had succeed.  But, God said "No!"  "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." (Isaiah 43:2 KJV).  God's love, and His light filled me so high that all of what the enemy tried to take from me was restored with one touch.  The doctors didn't even know what to think.  I had been clinically dead.  For whatever reason, my throat had closed shut, and I couldn't breathe.  This is how I woke up the morning after I had come home from receiving a thyroidectomy.  I was petrified.  I knew that if I didn't get oxygen it would be over for me soon.  Lying there unable to breathe was a horrible feeling.  I literally wished myself dead.  I couldn't get any air down to my lungs.  Everything was cut off.  When I tried to breathe in, everything back up at the back of my throat.  I had a mass amount of pressure that was going down in my chest, and filling my head like a balloon.  Death itself beckoned to me, and called my name.  And yet, through it all, the enemy kept screaming in my ear, "You are going to die!!!"  You can't go a long time without oxygen, but my experience felt like it went over 30 minutes.  Everything else from then on went in slow motion.  I remember looking up, and thinking, "God just take me."  My brother ran to me, and I recall hearing these last words, "What's wrong, can you breathe?"  The next thing I knew I was inside of a tunnel floating up to an illumination.  There was total darkness all around me, and I didn't see my body.  The only thing I saw was this remarkable light.  No sunshine, no candle, or no electricity could fathom the wonder I saw.  I remember reaching out with my hands to not even see them.  I immediately felt an enormous amount of love and peace.  I can assure it was nothing like I have ever experienced before.  I thought to myself, it is done, and I'm dead.  I was a piece of metal, and He was the magnet, the magnifying light.  I was just drawn to His brightness, His peace, and His love.  I recall thinking I'm here, and I don't have to worry anymore.  Why should I?  I was with Him, and I didn't want to leave.  He stood by my side filling the empty holes, and all the brokenness within me.  He also filled me with what I needed the most.  His love.  I looked over at Him, and asked Him if I could see my mother.  I lost my mother to a massive stroke in 2005.  The last thing I remember after that was hearing doctors all around me screaming, "Hurry up, we are going to lose her again!!!"  I could feel tears fall from my face, and I remember thinking, "Why!"  It was very blurry, but I could see images of people all around.  Then a man came up to the side of me, and said, "It's going to be okay, and you are going to be fine."  The inside of me was screaming no, no I won't.  I went back out again.  I woke up on a ventilator strapped to my bed.  I also saw that they had my hands and feet tied down.  I was coherent, and felt that machine stuffed down my throat into my lungs.  It was a very painful experience, but God saw me through it all.  I had lost my voice behind the whole matter, and lost all of my dreams to start back singing.  They said the ventilator may have played a role, and damage my voice.  They told me I probably wouldn't get my voice back to even talk, and that they would send me to a vocal cord specialist later.  I cried, and prayed for my voice back.  I would see people at church singing, and I would try, but everything was hoarse.  I remember thinking how I had sung all the time at church, and I felt the greatest joy when I did.  I prayed about it, hoped, and continued to sing with my hoarseness.  All I have to say on that is, "But, God!!!"  I got my voice back, and it was given to me even stronger than before.  "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you."  (Joel 2:25 KJV)  Nothing is ever meant to destroy us, but to strengthen us.  God will turn around what seemed to be bad, and make it good.  I wrote the poem, "My Epiphany", describing the personal experience with God.  Soon after that my dream to write resurfaced into my heart again.  At the time, I was working as a Phlebotomist, and I tried to squeeze in the time to write.  The two didn't work well together.  "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" (Matthew 7:7 KJV). So, I started praying.  I prayed to God that He would grant me the opportunity to be able to write again.  God answered my prayers, and that door I knocked on soon opened.  To make a long story short, I joined a writer's guild, and started presenting my poetry.  "Crossing The Timeless Bar", was one of my first pieces to present.  I felt in my heart to do so.  The feedback was eye opening, and surprising.  What surprised me the most about everything is that I was accused by some, for plagiarizing Alfred Lord Tennyson poem, "Crossing The Bar.?"  I was emailed on the fact that our poems were so much alike, but I didn't take no thought of the notion behind it.  So, I took the beating of being accused of plagiarizing his poem.  I never heard of Alfred Lord Tennyson.  I always read Robert Frost, Edgar Allan Poe, Shel Silverstein, Dr. Suess, Maya Angelou, and several others.  Alfred Lord Tennyson was not one of them.  When you read his poem to my poem, you will see a major resemblance.  I don't fault anyone for thinking in anyway, but sometimes we can be judgmental to each other by lack of understanding, and not knowing the known.  "Crossing The Timeless Bar" is a poem that has been tucked away in my journal for over 15 years, and I refuse to leave it there.  When I look back at all the things I went through, I trust God in this.  I had even changed up the poem up, and was still accused of copying.  Here is Alfred Lord Tennyson "Crossing The Bar."  You can see it here below...

My original version of my poem, "Crossing The Timeless Bar"

Crossing The Timeless Bar

The sunset will fall to an evening star soon
With only one clear call for me
And may there be no nightly moon
For me to go out and see

Such as the morning seems to fall asleep
Can hit you hard like rocks
When that which drew you out of the deep
Has no key to open the locks

Twilight and the ring of a summers bell
Then after it, comes the dark
May there be no letters of farewell
When the moon comes out and claims the dark

From out of our bound of time and peace
The road just may take me far
I hope to see my maker face to face
When I cross the timeless bar.

Very similar pieces of poetry.  Everyone else thinks the same way.  I have respect for Alfred Lord Tennyson poem.  Enough respect not to copy his work.  I most importantly reverence to God.  I also know He knows and loves each of us deeply.  He can and will rescue us when we are in trouble.  I truly believe that the very One who spoke to me in writing this poem, was also the One who had spoken with Tennyson.  All things are possible with God!  Not some, but all.  "It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are." - E. E. Cummings.  I choose to ride the clouds dear friends.  We should not allow the enemy of fear to kindle the flames of our faith.  God is working out a divine plan in us all.  "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God."  (Mark 11:22 KJV). This is only a mere insert to all what happened.  I've always heard that "Your test will be your testimony, Your mess will be your message, and Your storm will be your story."  Choose now, that you will be the defender, and not the defendant.  The victor, and not the victim!  I am victorious through Jesus Christ!!!

Have a blessed day dear friends!

The Power Of God's Word

The Power Of God's Word

"A person could read the Bible, not to become smart, but rather to feel that they are not alone, that somebody understands them and love them enough to speak to them, on purpose in a way that makes a person feel human." - Donald Miller

It is food for those who hunger...
"But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4 KJV)

It is water for those that thirst...
"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14 KJV)

It is a charter for the Believer...
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV)

It is a sword for the soldier...
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12 KJV)

It is map for those that seek life...
"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do." (John 17:3-4 KJV)
It provides comfort...
It provides peace...
It provides healing...

God wrote it...
Christ bought it...
Satan fought it...

The truth within it will never be defeated...

Have a blessed day dear friends!

Giving and Trusting God With All Your Heart

Giving and Trusting God with all your Heart

"Give your heart to the one who will take care of it, and not take advantage of it...Only Jesus!!!"

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5 KJV).  We must trust in the Lord with all our hearts, believing He is able, and wise to do what is best for us, and never forsaking us.  Giving God our upmost attention with the desires of serving Him righteously, wholeheartedly, humbly, wisely, and fearfully.  Diligently seek God in all you do, that you can have happiness, peace, rest, and dwell in safety through Jesus Christ our Lord.  "But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul." (Deuteronomy 4:29 KJV).  God speaks to us through our hearts.  "My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways." (Proverbs 23:26 KJV).  "Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:12-13 KJV).  Loving God always, and knowing He will take care of you.
"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:" (Deuteronomy 6:5-6 KJV).   "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10 KJV).  Because,
Giving, and Trusting in God with all your Heart...❤️

Have a blessed day dear friends...

Comfort Zone or Faith...Mountain or Cloud

Comfort Zone or Faith...Mountain or Cloud

"Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe" - Saint Augustine

We walk everyday in this life with a visual perception of what lies ahead before us.  We can visually see it with our eyes, and our mind reflects what we see.  There are other times we walk with a spiritual perception of what we believe is ahead of us.  We can't visual see it, but we have hope that it is there.  "Now faith is substances of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrew 11:1).  But, do we actually rest on the confides of faith, or do we depend on the comfort of the zone.  Are you currently in a situation, yet your heart desires to do something else?  Do you have dreams, goals or accomplishments you seek to achieve, but your current situation will suffice?  Are you sitting on the mountain, or are you floating on the cloud of unlimited possibilities?  When you are resting on the mountain you feel safe, secure and grounded.  You know you can always rely on a mountain to be a stable foundation for you to fall back on.  It isn't going anywhere, so why is there a need to leave and go elsewhere.  While you are sitting secure on the mountain, you see in front of you, a huge, pretty, fluffy cloud.  You not only see a cloud, but you see potential to do so much more.  You know in your heart that the mountain can only get so high, and then it can't go any further.  But, the cloud, can float here, there, and take you anywhere you want you to go.  You tell yourself, "It looks comfortable, but is it stable?"  You have never road on a cloud before, but you imagine, dream, and hope that it would be a great adventurous ride.  "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." (Mark 9:23).  Now, you have a choice.  Do you remain on the mountain, and allow fear to kindle the flame of your most desired dream, or take a leap of faith on the clouds to see how far up you can go.  From your view it may seem impossible.  "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26).

Face your ultimate fears, trust in God, and walk on the cloud of faith.  You see the cloud ahead,  but you must have faith, and believe that you will get there.  For, it is faith, that pleases God!  Don't ever lose heart, and keep praying to Him.  He never said the road would be easy, but He did say it would be worth it.

"And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief:  for verily I say to you, If ye have faith as a grain of a mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." (Matthew 17:20).

In the end, the very mountain you climbed to get where you are now, will be the very mountain to put you where you need to be!  That is how good God is!!!  Thank you Jesus!!!

Have a blessed day dear friends...

The More You Find Yourself

The More You Find Yourself

The closer you are to your destiny, the more people will fall off.  Your destiny is never tied to anyone who leaves you or who stays with you.  It maybe hard, but I believe God uses things like losing people to draw you closer to Him, so that you may reach your divine purpose in life.  Building fortitude that will ultimately guide you into solitude.  Solitude being that much needed time alone to listen to God.  Some people you encounter on your journey will help promote you to the next level.  Then, you will encounter those, that are specifically there to try to get you off course.  Thank God for both of them.  He said He will never leave you, nor forsake you.  Believe and live on the promises of God.  Have peace within your hearts, and know that each person plays an important role of seeing you get to where you need to be.  Thank them, and love them for that.  Where there is harmony, there will also be discord.  Don't fret, and don't get upset.  God will allow opposition to come across your path to strengthen, and establish you.  It is never there to hurt you.  Don't expect your garden to blossom and grow if you always had sunshine.  Your crops would eventually burn up without a little rain.  So, don't be disappointed when you notice the people who were there are no longer.  Don't get discouraged about the things that you once had, are now gone.  Allow your hearts to be glad, and keep trusting in God.  You are more closer than you think you are.  Keep pressing on!!!  "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:14).  Seek, Trust, & Hope...

Blessing to you dear friends...

Love Is The Only Key That Will Set Us Free...

Love Is The Only Key That Will Set Us All Free

This morning when I woke up, I found myself thinking on several things that I have witnessed over the past few days.  Somethings I saw more than others.  But, the issue that stuck in my heart the most, was the lack of love and compassion being displayed to one another.  It really saddens me when I see a person or an animal being mistreated for no apparent reason.  It seems everywhere I look, whether if it is on the news, social media, or out in the public; someone is being judged, slandered, disrespected, and ridiculed by futile thoughts of other people.  The things I hear the most is, what they've done, they are not suppose to be doing those things, and they're wrong for doing that.  We have no clue, as to why they did what they did, why they are doing it, or what kind of battle they maybe fighting.  I want to say to them, "Who are you, and what horse did you ride in on?"  What really slaps me across the face is that most of them, by observation, are claiming to be Christians.  If we continue to present ourselves to others in this type of way, then we are no different from the Pharisees and Sadducees that were against the teachings of Christ, who kept "Mosaic Laws", but had no love in their hearts.  When I thought about this, it made me think of the parable of "The Pharisee and the Tax Collector".  "And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."  (Luke 18:9-14 KJV).

As Christians, we all have had our "Used To's."  I "used to" go to the club every weekend, and cheat.  I "used to" lie and steal, I "used to" talk negatively about people, I "used to" drink, smoke, cuss, and the list goes on. But, when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior your, "Used To's" were wiped away and you became a "New You!"  If we say we are a true Christian, then our lives, and our walks are to be like that of Christ.  "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are becoming new." (2 Corinthians 5:17).  Jesus came, loved, and died on the cross for all, not just a few, but for all.  Thank God for His unconditional love toward us that He sent His son to die for us.  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemned the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:16-17).  Love is the antidote, love is the key, and love is the cure.  The scripture says, "For God so Loved the world."  In our walk with Christ, Christians are to tell others about God's love, His grace, and His mercy.  We are to bring people to Christ.  Now, I like to go fishing, and have always enjoyed the relaxation of it.  Fishing is a favorite pastime, and hobby of mine.  Every time I go I would bait all the hooks, catch the fish, and then, take the fish home to clean them.  Well, it is just the same thing when we are telling others about the love of Christ.  You can not clean anything, that you haven't caught.  In this case, we are not to clean anyone, but simply share God's love.  Once Jesus has entered into their hearts, the Holy Spirit will do the cleaning.  That will cease any condemnation and judging that can hurt people, and turn them away.  We love, because God first loved us.  If we as Christians, are to be the light of the world, then through Jesus Christ we should show, and share the light of that love.  We are His vessels, and our bodies are the temples that house His spirit.  It is through the love we have within us that others can see the love of God.  "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all they mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Matthew 22:37-40).  Because...
(1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

So, as we travel along together in this world with hopes for the eternal, let us all love one another to the fullest.  Because, love can heal the hearts of the broken, it can strengthen the hearts of the weaken, and it can melt the hearts of the harden.  We should have patience, compassion, kindness, and sincerity with one another in a world that is ever changing to a God that never changes.  "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8).  Love is the only key that can set us all free.  "Love is the greatest thing that has ever came out of heaven, and it is the greatest thing that has ever went back."

Jesus Christ is that love...

Have a blessed day dear friends...

Wisdom

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."  (Proverbs 9:10)
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all menliberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  (James 1:5)
"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.  (James 3:17)

Wisdom

(Yirat Adonai) "Fear of the Lord"

She seeks the heart of no man,
yet she yearns the desire only to be sought
Subdued to voices who are moved,
by times catered to experienced thoughts.

Her peaceable and pleasant virtue is invaded,
by the wicked in spirit at any cost
Often mistaken by rules in book theories,
her precious treasures are mislead, and lost.

Her understanding is knowledgeably true,

with an up most intention to save
For it is she, Wisdom, in all cost,
that teaches knowledge to behave

Knowledge is a broad spectrum of notes
to the objective information
Wisdom is the Holy One's understanding
to the subjective application.

When you ask to receive her from the Father,

with a pure heart you must be
She will beckon her fruits unto you and say,
"How wise of thee to seek me"

She will be given to serve under Him,
and He alone with righteousness
To guide you closer with His spirit,
and to teach you love and faithfulness.

"I am Wisdom, I abide prudently to give credence

I have knowledge, and discretion, aligned with ingenious
Fear the Lord, fear the Father, hate evil, and obstructive language
Dwell, and abide within me, I will keep thee heart from anguish
Righteous counsel, and sound judgments are obtained, inside my lowly tower
My Father created me in the beginning with His understanding, and incredible power."

Your Destiny, Your Purpose, Your Calling

Your Purpose, Your Calling, Your Destiny

Whatever gift God has given you, He intends for you to use it.  Whatever God has started within you, He intends to finish it.  Whatever God has designed for you to be, He intends to walk with you to your destiny. "The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands."  (Psalms 138:8 KJV).  Whatever God has place in your heart, He will help see you through it.  And, whatever God has called you to do, He will make a way for you to do it.  For, He is a God that doesn't break promises, or change with the time as we do.  "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever."  (Hebrews 13:8 KJV).  If God placed it within your heart, know it will be completed.  "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"  (Numbers 23:19 KJV)

Trust, believe,  and know He is working things out for you even when it seems He is not there.  The path may not seem clear, but the road up ahead will be.  His timing is perfect, far beyond what we understand.  "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (Romans 11:33-36 KJV)

Epiphany

Epiphany

Powerful essence of overwhelming peace
Magnifying illuminated guiding light
The sun or the moon can not equate the release
Of the divinity that shone so bright

Unconditioned love so wondrously strong
He wiped away all of my tears
Darkness encompassed as I drifted along
With reverence there was no need to fear

Electrifying ascension to the One well-nigh
No candle light burned for the radiance lit
Only that needed walk between He and I
And everything else seemed to fit.

My being shouted out chosen to serve for the call
My soul rejoiced in its own symphony
As I travel along to share His love with all
In my spiritual epiphany.

God is Love

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."  (1 John 4:7-8 KJV)

Wise Woman

"Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."  (Proverbs 31:30)

Because who is perfect

Have you ever struggled with your body, or frown on what you look like?  Even with our flaws, does that mean we’re less valuable or should be loved any less?  No, of course not.  We are each wonderfully made by God, and designed for a purpose.  We were made perfect in Him!  This is a great video.  Be encouraged dear friends!!!

Guarding your Heart

Guarding your Heart

"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."  (Proverbs 4:23 KJV)
1. The heart is an extremely precious, and valuable organ.  Not only does it pumps blood throughout our bodies, but it also deals with the issues of life.  Part of you that connects with God and other people is through your heart.  Take precaution and care for it on a constant basis.  God takes very seriously to our hearts, so "Keep thy heart with all diligence."

2. Your heart is the source of everything, and has an impact on all aspects of your life.  The "Issues of life."  Your family, health, career, ministry, relationships, etc.  Keep your heart away from toxic poisons that can damage what is inside.  "For out of it are the issues of life."  What goes inside the heart, will manifest on the outside.

3. Your heart is always under constant attack.  The enemy's sole purpose is to lead us to destruction.  He opposes God, and everything that is aligned with God.  Always be watchful, and mindful of his schemes.  Pray to God, and ask for His guidance.  "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;"  (Ephesians 6:14 KJV) Never assume, know where to stand, don't get anxious, and base your decisions on what you know, rather than what you feel.

Have a blessed day dear friends.

Dear Patient One

Dear Patient One
(The Essence of Solitude)

Dear patient one, I know, you feel helplessly alone,
Uprooted by the trials of life, your body feels prone.

The path up ahead seems dark, there is no lucid light,
You are about to let go, and give up, you no longer want to fight.

All your hopes and dreams, like glass, they too have become shattered,
What you once thought would always be, now never really mattered.

Everyone mocks at the sight of your struggle, and gloats in the torture of your pain,
Effort soon becomes effortless, where there is no visual gain.

Dear patient one, I know, the journey seems hard to bear,
Shackled by the transcendental fear, you no longer desire to care.

You feel that life has ceased its means, it has been brought to a sudden pause,
There is no knowledgeable reasoning, or an obtainable supportive cause.

The time quickened into day, where the nights seemed to tarry long,
You reminisced back to the past of days, when your heart had a lovely song.

Heightened by a sudden outbreak, of the primitive silent rage,
You close up the fearful animal, and you lock it within a cage.

Dear patient one, I know, you have screamed loud on the inside,
You have wondered if this time would pass, if these feelings could subside.

You have prayed to God up above, and foolishly ask Him why,
You are reminded to have hope in Him, like an eagle you mount wings and fly.

You then began to cry.

Suddenly, you stop, and deep within your heart you hear,
That sweet, lovable, gentle tone, from the one who knows you dear.

Embraced by the sound of His glory, in a peaceful, harmonious voice,
Your soul is overwhelmed by His grace, where your inner being sufficiently rejoice.

Dear patient one, there is a reason, behind your lost, and lonely season.

Allow the spirit to guide your heart, and endure the test of fortitude.
Take this moment alone with God, into the tranquil solitude.

There, you will subsequently find, the divine destiny that awaits you.
